Happy Birthday My Babies!

On August 15th my twins turned FOUR! How dare they be so cruel to their Mommy? They are breaking my heart. *Sob**sniffle**sniffle*

Hello Claire ya big ole four year old. You're killen me you know? She was eating her birthday meal. Now that I think about it she really didn't, but she pretended to for the picture. Her theme was princesses. Hence the paper crown. I tell you she is such a giver. The other day she got a starburst for being good at school from her teacher. When she got in the car she split into three pieces to share with her brothers. What a sweet honey child. I know she will be such a wonderful woman and will have a wonderful life. Heaven help any of her boyfriends. If they don't treat her right her two older brothers will be there to "make it right" *wicked grin*

Ah, my Mikey sitting under the table with his cousin Jakey eating where it was "safe". Hey KID listen to me!!! Stop growing up! You are my baby boy and I must keep you innocent. It is bad enough now that every time we go to Monkey Joe's some little girl runs up to you yelling "Mikey, Mikey come on come on!" and off you go. The girls already love you and I have no idea how to ugly you up because you are such a great personality.

*biting my knuckle holding back the tears* My three angles. They take my breath away. I love these three kids more then life it's self. I just wanna smother them in kisses and squeeze them so hard. Now only if they would stay still long enough for me to get my hands on them. This picture was a miracle. You really don't want to see the ones before this. Really they are a sight.

The theme was Hulk/Princesses. Yep two shades of green and black for the Hulk and pastel pinks and purples for the Princesses. Wonderful combination. I will say that Mikey loved the Hulk cake and Claire was thrilled with her cupcake crown cake. Jakey is sitting there plugging his ears while we sang Happy Birthday. Guess he didn't like the off key song. Makes me wanna sing it again hehe.

Enjoying some chocolate from his goodie bag. Digging the shades there rock star.

She is my DIVA! That girl cracks me up!

The insanity begins!

Then it continues. I had no idea who got who what. Did you follow that? It was just a blur of tissue paper. I am all for the "stuffing toys in bags and top off with tissue paper" deal but when all the presents are like that it makes for quick unwrapping. Whooooooooooooosh fifty million unwrapped toys strewn on the floor.

It was a very happy day for them and I promise I didn't let them see me cry. I changed diapers for six years straight and now that they don't need me as much any more I am at a loss. They are getting so big and needing me less but I think so far I did a pretty good job because they are truly some good kids.

Crazy Days of Summer

I haven't been around much this summer because I have been spending it at the POOL! I did exsactly what I planned which was absolutley nothing but bond with my kids. It was heaven! Heaven I say!!!!!

This is Ethan comming down the slide. Down here in the south we call it "Ass over elbows".

My Mikey Moodle comming down the slide so proud. Notice no floaties! The life guard told him if he could swim from one side of the pool to the other he could go down the "big" water slide. That child put all of himself into that lap. However the twins gave the new life guards that came along a heart attack when they saw how small they were comming down that big slide.

My sweet angle baby Claire. She just loved that cheetah bathing suit with the pink butterfly in the center. She is all booty and what a cute booty she has! Kisses my baby girl!!!

Last but not least my big boy Ethan. He is concentrating hard here. The kids will knock you off those floats in a second. It was called the lilly pads. He was the only one with out a tan this summer. The sun and Ethan just don't get along. I believe he recieved a few more freckles this summer though. He made it across safe and sound.....that time hehe.

My twins taking a break. Hope you all had as much fun as we did this summer! I just love the summers!

Claire's First Ballet Recital 2009

We arrived nice and early. Can you see how excited she is? Actually she was trying her model smile out. Maybe it is her Miss America plastic smile.

All dressed in her pretty yellow tutu.

She has such a pretty back. The back of the tutu was cute too.

All lined up and ready to get down and boogie...pardon tap. All dressed up and ready to tap, a tap, tap, tap! Shuffle toe heal ball change!

This was the hard part. Changing out from your tap shoes to your ballet slippers. Remember people she is only three...awe!

This is probably one of my favorite pictures. That is Missy and Claire doing an arabesque. Too cute!

She just melts my heart. She looked so thrilled to be there.

Grandma got her that beautiful bouquet of flowers. Claire kept saying over and over "My Gama got me pretty flowers Momma!"

This child was so excited it was popping out of those pretty blue eyes.

Momma and her pretty little ballerina princess Claire. You know it's kinda funny because she is the only one out of the three that calls me Momma. We are not extremely southern out here and she picked that name for me all on her own. She has even gotten me to call my Mom, Momma.

Much Needed One On One Time

This Mother's Day I did something that was very rare for me. I spent it with my eldest child. Having a set of three year old twins is a very on your toes job. The little guys demand so much more of my time. This was supposed to be the their Daddy's weekend but Ethan had a very high fever on Friday so I kept him with me and sent the twins off to spend the weekend with their Dad. By the time Sunday rolled around his fever had broke and he was bouncing off the walls. That was when I decided that we would get out and go to The Yellow River Game Ranch. This place is full of native Georgian wild life that has been either injured or orphaned at one point. This time of year is the best time to go. So off we went and had a blast!

This was what greeted us when we walked out that door. He even struck a pose.

Then this sweet little thang wandered up.

Then a couple more sweet thangs.....

Then the whole family came over. No fear in that child's eyes, NO FEAR I say!

Spring has sprung. Babies ducks are so cute.

This baby called me "Maaaaaaamaaaaaaaaa" Yes he did I swear!

Ethan and I had a long discussion about putting this little chick in a pocket and running to the car. It took him a good five minutes of reasoning with me to get it through my head that it would be a very bad thing for me to do. It was so cute and fuzzy!

This pig was very grunty and demanding. He didn't want the peanut Ethan tried to feed him. He didn't want the carrot. Not even the saltine cracker would do for this swine. Then I found his Achilles heel.......graham crackers. He is on his way to sugar diabetes.

What a ham.....hehe. Yeah shoot me I went there!

How could you resist a face like that?

Much easier then resisting THIS face. I lova, lova, love you little man! He was on a mission to give every squirrel he set his eyes on a peanut. The animals here are so tame that even a teeny tiny little chipmunk will come up to you and take a nut from your hand.

I am telling you these animals know how to get food out of me. They were playing goat peek a boo with me. Then they had the nerve to call me "Maaaamaaaaa" over and over again. I was going into Mamma over drive.

I was this guy's Mamma first. My mini me freckles and all.

I fell for it. Yes it's a hand made sling shot.

Please Lord don't let him put anybodies eyes out. Please don't let that evil little boy streak come out of him against the woodland creatures in the back yard.

Oh and this sweet creature wanted to tell you something.................

CHEESE!

Adventures In Planting A Garden

I decided that I was going to plant a garden. Then I thought that maybe the kids would like to get in on the fun. Literally!

Mikey standing in the raised garden bed. The direction that was given was stand beside the bed.

The other two got a kick out of Mom's exasperation so they decided to join the fun. So now we can all give a collective "Awe" because they are cutie pies even when they are being devils.

The fun begins!

He is poking at the dirt. Boys will be boys eh?

Three little ducklings all in a row.

She is all business.

She is digging it. Hehe!

The boys decided that playing was more fun. This is what happened when I told them I was going to start digging the holes for the plants to go into.

My straggler

The boys stayed around for a bit. Claire was the super helper today. Maybe she will find a love for gardening.

"Looks heavy Claire. Do you need some help?" I say.

"Nope Momma I got it" she says.
I will have to point out here how her little mouth is wide open. Such determination this one has. Oh, and she wants you to call her Fred. Or Bread as she pronounces it.

The finished product. Hopefully we have just helped these little plants on their way. We planted red and yellow bell peppers, three types of tomatoes, banana peppers, jalapenos, and a yellow squash. I will be so stoked if they actually produce.

See ya guys later!
